Indoor Events:
USA Archery indoor 600 round
This round is shot at a distance of 18 meters and is comprised of 20 ends of 3 arrows each for a total of 60 arrows
Equipment inspection is required at all USA archery events
A judge will inspect the archers equipment for the following:
Draw bow to make sure draw weight is below the maximum limit of #60
All arrow shafts must be marked with the archer's initials
Maximum diameter of 23/64" for arrows
No lights are allowed on the sight
Timers and line commands are used at all events:
Archers have 11 seconds to get to the shooting line and 2 minutes to shoot 3 arrows
Archers can use the single multicolor or 3 spot target face. Scoring is shown at the right (scoring rings are the same on either face)
Archers are assigned 4 to a target bale- each has an assignment (arrangement is shown on the right)
Archers will be assigned a target either on the top (AB line) or bottom (CD line) target row at registration.
The shooting order alternates during the competition (AB-CD etc.) Archers do not switch target rows and there is usually not a break between halves.
This round is spectator friendly and usually more space is available at larger venues
Food and snacks may be available at some events. Due to the length of this event, archers are strongly encouraged to bring their own snacks, lunch and plenty of water
This competition usually takes 3 to 4 hours to complete.

Archer B scores
Archer C scores
Archer D verifies the calls and scoring
